Recently, I had the privilege of sitting down with Christy Durphy—a woman whose faith, resilience, and testimony continue to inspire many. As we reflected on nearly 140 faith conversations, Christy shared how these dialogues not only strengthen her own walk but also serve to uplift others.

Christy’s story is a testament to the power of trusting God through life's most challenging seasons. Diagnosed with leukemia in June, she refused to accept the diagnosis as her final word. Christy emphasized the importance of listening to God's voice and acting in obedience, even when it's uncomfortable. Whether it was praying over a horse in distress or reaching out to pray for a stranger, she shared how stepping out in faith opens doors for God to move mightily. She also highlighted how fear often tries to hold us back—from sending a simple message of prayer to confronting our own doubts—and how vital it is to rebuke that fear with the truth of God's Word.
